Confidential Data on Google


Google obviously prides themselves because of the amount of data and sites that they index, but what about confidential information? Sure, they don’t care as long as these sites give them access to the files. Go ahead, click here to view Google’s index of confidential documents.

Most of the stuff won’t really mean anything to us but it might in the wrong hands. This is by no means Google’s fault, instead it is obviously the result of poor thinking from the Web coordinator of the sites. Even still, who would put up confidential information on a public domain? Well, I guess these people.

    Well that is rather disturbing. Noticed the bulk of the results though were PDF documents. The non-PDF documents seem to be just items with the term ‘confidential’ in it, not actually ‘confidential’ items.
