I think with the updates that Google Reader just released last night gives it an edge of Feeds2.com anyways. I would say that you should give it a shot and I am sure that you would like it.

I guess I will have to try the Google Reader as I have not gotten anything back for getting the beta of the other reader that was recently posted here.

The ability to scan posts for certain keywords is something most desktop feed readers do so I am sure Google Reader will get that feature soon as well.

I never thought about a "grouping" feature to group similar stories. Feeds2.com does something similar to that and Google definitely should as well. They should treat Google Reader as a news source because it is exactly that for many people. I was actually surprised to see how many sources quickly reported about the Google/YouTube deal. For about an hour after it was announced my feed reader was quite cluttered. :)

I like the new features, hopefully they'll continue to make minor updates to Google Reader, as now it is my RSS reader of choice, after the huge update they had not long ago.

My favorite feature is the refresh button on the page, and the fact that it auto-refreshes like Gmail does....that's something I was really hoping they'd do.

The only feature I'd like to see added to Google Reader right now is the ability to search through my feed for specific posts/articles about certain topics (i.e. "AMD" as I own stock in the company and track their news regularly). Also, I'd like to see the ability to have Google Reader consolodate articles of the same nature, the same way they do on their Google News site, so that I don't see the same news story every other article in my RSS reader, from every news source in my RSS feed (i.e. Today when Google YouTube Buy Out Deal was announced, every other story in Google Reader was about that, for me).
