I use that as well...it&#039;s a really nice gadget that Google made.

Yeah, that is one of the only things that GreatNews is really lacking. I find FeedDemon to fill all of those voids, and one of my favorite things is that I can have the notification get pinned. That way the notification window will never close until I manually do it, and I therefore don&#039;t have to worry about missing something while I wasn&#039;t at my computer.</description>

		<description>A Notifier for a feed reader is a sure way to madness.
Unless you only monitor feeds that post once or twice a day, there&#039;s always stuff to read.
Usually I empty it in the morning, but after a few minutes it starts to fill again.
The only use I can see in it is monitoring a certain feed or group of feeds that update seldomly I you really want to know ASAP when they do.

Anybody finds some other use?</description>
