Google Sync is a new Firefox extension that Google released and it will allow you to synchronize your browser’s settings so that you can always pick up where you left off. The extension will synchronize your bookmarks, history, persistent cookies, open tabs, and saved passwords. Now you will even be able to get your bookmarks, passwords, etc… when you are at work or school.
You can find the download for the extension at the Google Sync’s Homepage below or you can just click on the direct link. I found the direct link because Google doesn’t let Firefox 2 users download the extension unless you find the link to the extension so that you can prevent them from checking your browser version.

The concept behind this extension is awesome! Nice!
Now they will have information about my browser settings too! They really do want the entire world’s information.
Of course they want the whole world’s information, and they are going to take it one step at a time so that no one notices

This extension isn’t working for me for some reason. I installed it, and try to set it up, but every time I get up to the step after creating my PIN #s, it says there has been an error (while creating my Google Sync Account). I tried uninstalling the extension and installing it again and same thing happens. Do you know what the problem may be? (maybe too many people using the service now or something)
Ha, that is funny. We must have been installing it at the same time. I just finished installing it. I didn’t have any issues so maybe you should try a different computer or a clean profile.
I am running it on Firefox 2.0 and as far as I can tell it is working great.
