We are definitely going to make it lighter when loading, our load time will nearly be half what it is now thanks to huge code reductions I was able to make. Putting in AJAX page loading would require extra a lot of extra JavaScript that would add to the page load time. There will be some new AJAX goodness though…you can count on that.

Thanks to everyone for the encouragement! Tonight we finished all of the backend work so all that’s left is the graphical goodness. That’s going to be the easy part since it is just arranging some stuff on the page since we’ve already got most of the graphics done for it.

We’re probably going to have a lot of testing to do next weekend to ensure that our site isn’t going to crash when we put the redesign up, but we’ll keep you posted with when to expect it!

We put a lot of effort into giving our visitors a unique experience that they won’t really see on another blog, and when we hear positive feedback it couldn’t make our day any better. Thanks for being the best visitors a site could ask for!
