You can go ahead and change your email address as much as you would like. We used to track comments for all-stars by the email address as well, but now we just do it by the user ID's. Therefore you are good to go!

Is it possible that it’s that story? I think I may have tried submitting to that story twice. It definitely did say 2 then go down to 1. Now it’s stuck at 1. Isn’t there some sort of administrative way for you to clean a user’s spam count?

I had gotten the one tip from you awhile back saying that your comment had been caught as spam, specifically this comment:
[tech.cybernetnews.com]

I pulled it out immediately when you sent that, and we haven’t received any other contacts from you and we see no other comments that have been caught as spam. Sorry, but we don’t know what else to do?

We have to use a spam filter because otherwise our site would get 1000+ spam comments a day no matter what type of captcha we try to use, and we simply don’t have the time to filter through that many comments.

Hi Netster -If you used the contact us, we did not receive any of the messages. Whenever we receive a message that the spam filter has caught a comment, we immediately take care of it. Sorry you incurred problems.

In the future should that happen, another idea would be to just leave a message in the Forum about it.
