I'm with Ashley on this one. It would be awesome to have a one-click backup solution for my Gmail. IMAP access is nice, but I don't really view it as a backup solution since it would be difficult to restore my Gmail account from it.

Gmail already does - they offer both POP3 and IMAP access to the account, as well as allowing all email to be silently forwarded to another account. The same cannot be said of Y! or Hotmail.</blockquote></div>
POP3 and IMAP allows you to pull in your emails, but it's not as simple as a one-click back-up solution that creates a single compressed file of all your emails. Also, you can't silently forward emails in bulk, so the forwarding would only apply to new emails coming in. If a real back-up solution was available, it would save your label structure without the need for an email client like Outlook or Thunderbird.

Thanks to make public these tips. iGoogle perso page is really handy to manage and with all the usefull gadgets Google gives plus the tabs thmselves customizable, iGoogle ppage appears to be one of the best homepages solution, or at least to stay at one click in bookmarks. I like Google and its solutions. But to answer your last question, I must say that, well...I just really don't know what to say.
