That’s right, after a short matter of time, it has been discovered how you can join the
- Open up Internet Explorer. MSN likes Internet Explorer, and hates Firefox. (Damn Microsoft!)
- For this to work, you must be signed out of MSN. Go to the MSN Homepage, and double check you are signed out.
- Copy this URL to Internet Explorer: Right Click On Here -> Copy
- You should be redirected to another URL (Another URL to login). Sign in.
- You should see the regular
Hotmail once signed in.- Once you see the regular Hotmail, do Step #3 again. Copy the same URL above.
- Click ?Participate? on the bottom (Scroll down!) and walla!

I get to the Live page where yoiu select Participate, but clicking on the button just takes me back to hotmail again.
I think you might be right, it appears that it may no longer be working. Looks like they figured it out!

Weird, because I was just able to get in.
Try again now i guess.
It wouldn’t work for me on my Mac (went back to the Hotmail homepage) but I tried it on my PC and it worked fine. Maybe that’s your problem, or you aren’t running IE 6??
Wow, it worked for me perfectly! I still love GMail and use it as my primary address but this might be an interesting alternative.
hmmm i just tried and i get the page where i have to accept and it takes me back to my mailbox and its the same… no changes?
It worked for my account, but when my wife tried to do this with her account it didn’t work. We then experimented with creating a new account but that also didn’t work. I know one thing you need to do is make sure your language is set to English but that still doesn’t make a difference with our accounts. Another thought that I had is that I had signed up to be accepted into the beta program, but my wife had not. They may be checking to make sure that you have once requested to be part of the beta program. That is just a thought though.

I just did it without any difficulties.
And “walla” isn’t a word. It’s “voila”.
It worked fine for me. I don’t like all of this white space. It’s a little too plain for me. I’m going to stick with gmail.

At first this didn’t work for me, when I was using IE7. I tried while using IE6 and it worked. That might be part of the problem…
I know that another problem could be if you created an account within the last 30 days or if Hotmail has not given you a 250MB account.
