This speed dial for IE is really great. I stopped using Firefox and that was the one program I really missed. I hope on future updates we can set the number of speed dial boxes instead of just having 9. I really only need about 6. Nice to see these kinds of addons coming to IE.

The latest beta of IE7pro includes something called EasyHome which is a lot like Opera’s Speed Dial feature that I love so much (I didn’t really care for the Firefox clone). Note: ctrl-shift-E is or right-clicking on the IE7pro icon are the default ways to get EasyHome to show. I need to figure out how to make it default for new tabs. This Strengthens my belief that those guys from Norway are the true innovators in the browser arena. the rest just follow.

I don’t think we’ll be seeing Gecko in Internet Explorer anytime soon, although that would be quite interesting.

It’s a shame they didn’t make it use the Gecko (or any decent) rendering engine, or I might show some interest. For me, anything else IE has added to it is merely regrettable, as it’s made inherantly useless by the browser it’s for.
