Definately, I’ve sometimes geotagged photos myself but its quite time consuming, and sometimes I just stick it in a general area which is obviously making incorrect or ambigous data. It will also help greatly with things like Panoramio, and with camera focal length, depth of field and the knowledge of which way you’re facing it would be possible to even see a “cone” of what’s included in the shot.

That’s actually one feature I’m really looking forward to as well. I can’t wait for it to actually be built-in to the cameras without needing to attach a bulky addon.

GPS is a feature on some DSLRs nowadays… I think it’s going to be fun to know exactly where you were when you took a picture. And I’m sure it wouldn’t be hard to either remove the information or disable the GPS if you wanted to.
