Prior to them starting the Direct2Dell blog and the IdeaStorm site we hadn't written much about them. In fact, here on CyberNet News I think the only article we wrote was about them aquiring Alienware back in December 2005.Now that they are starting to listen to the customer feedback they have proven to be a really interesting company, and that was surely proven when they launched Linux.As Ashley said though, if you see some interesting news from HP, Asus, Averatec, Acer, Sony, or any other companies just shoot us an email and we'll definitely look into it. Ryan started the "Dell Deals" site last year, and at the time neither of us owned a Dell (First laptop was HP, Compaq, Avaratec, then Dell). There were just amazing coupons, and he thought it would be fun to search around for coupons to help others save money. The original intent was to maintain both CyberNet and Dell Deals equally, but then CyberNet turned into more than we ever expected. Ryan keeps up with it on occasion as a hobby (you'll notice it's not updated often).Regarding our coverage of Dell, they tend to be more consumer related lately. They also tend to focus on communicating with their community what's going on. If HP and others were doing the same thing, we'd be writing about them as well.
