Of course if you bought the Macbook Air with Solid State Drive the price gets pretty close to the same, yet the Macbook Air is not so nice in my opinion. Of course for the budget conscious you would probably avoid the Air marketing campaign anyway, since in many ways the machine will be slower than a comparably equipped Macbook. Just think 4200 rpm hard drive versus a 5400 rpm hard drive for the standard Macbook, now which would you choose?
