Have you been looking for good weather tracking software lately? Well, I have been using Weather Watcher for a long time and I thought that other people might find it useful. It is completely free (exactly the kind of software I love) but has an amazing interface with a huge list of options.
It can also display the weather right in your system tray but also has the ability to give you details of the weather just by holding your mouse over the icon. You can also set it up to display a weather map as your wallpaper on your computer and have it update the map at designated intervals.
This software does everything that I want weather software to do and I don’t have to look at annoying ads or be bugged to buy a full version. Checkout the homepage for more screenshots and the large list of features.

You know, I use Weather Defender – it isn’t free, but you can download it free for a week, which is what I did at their web site (weatherdefender.com). My kids are all off in college, but I think Weather Defender actually would have been IDEAL for the household when they were growing up. Between kids going to soccer practice, my husband going hunting, living in the midwest, it would have been nice to have such good monitoring to keep everyone safe, you know? Maybe that’s why I sent them to school in Arizona – all they deal with is heat, and probably some partying (eek!). Anyways, that’s what I would recommend. Check it out!
