Wow, I didn’t think Gateway was doing that well. I have a family member that owned a Gateway laptop and worked for an agency that didncustomer cervice for their computers. From what I understand, they are having some serious hardware defects in their products.

I didn’t actually think that Gateway was doing all that well either, but this goes to show that I was wrong. Although they are several hundred down the list.

According to my CS572 class which is a high level database class, I remember the teacher saying that nothing really comes close to Oracle other than DB2. Oracle is doing well, especially when colleges like the one I attend use Oracle exclusively. There are many school like that as well, especially since the hostel take over of Peoplesoft.

Well, even if you do put them up against Bill Gates I’m sure Google’s Larry and Sergey are making more in the time frame that they’ve been working for Google, compared to how long it has taken Bill Gates to earn that much.
