Looks like I will be paying $399 for Vista Ultimate. I will be building a new system, complete with DirectX 10 video card (once they are out).

What the heck is ‘Vista Enterprise’? Further where could we find out the difference between Basic/Premium/Ultimate?

That upgrade price is about what I paid for when I got XP a few years back, but that was NOT an upgrade version it was for a new PC.
