I Geo-tag with Web-Picasa and it is just as easy as you expect it to be.
1. Open Google Photos (Web Picasa).
2. Create a new folder and Browse to your photos + upload
3. The just point a click to place a marker where the photos were taken - either for the whole folder (show place on map) or photo by photo (drag and drop photo)

Really, for most people, this is enough.
In the past Microsoft was known for making things easy. Google has now taken over that position. The single sign on, the no install software, no worry about crashes, updates and all of that boring stuff. Google is for users what Microsoft is for administrators.
As long as both (G&M) keep their strategic positions they can co-exist.

Zoho has understood this. They compete with Google by being better. But their biggest challenge is - I persume - to find a revenue stream. Based on what they have done lately, they must be thinking of how to copy Google's fortune concept - all the way - including getting that constant media attention.

...
Sorry if I'm a bit off topic here.

You can tag bunches of photos in one shot. Then, you can see all of your pictures when you’re in Google Earth.</blockquote></div>
For some people, yes. You can bulk geotag photos using this program as well, and so the only difference is really being able to view them in Google Earth... which some people may not want to use anyway.
