There are a lot of people that have become all too familiar with Microsoft’s Windows Genuine Advantage (WGA). Microsoft will of course sell you a legal version of Windows if you are running a pirated copy…and now they aren’t forcing you to reformat your computer to fix the issue.
Once you have purchased a key you can download the Windows Product Key Update Tool. Using it is a piece of cake: run it, enter the new key, and restart the computer. Now if only they made a simple tool to remove WGA instead of having to follow the 20-step process!
