Microsoft Starts Working On 'Live Drive' Storage For Users

Microsoft appears to be working on a file storage system that it can provide to its users. They are calling it “Live Drive” to coincide with the release of multiple Windows Live services. They have hopes to get users to put all of their data on to these servers, even your most personal files. They say that your documents will be secure and that you not have anything to worry about (hmmm…).

This could be Microsoft’s way to try and get ahead of Google who accidentally released a publication saying that they are working on a GDrive storage system that will possibly give users unlimited storage space and unlimited bandwidth. Google has not made any guarantees to the information in this publication (they said it was ‘accidentally’ placed on the web). I guess we will see who can get the file storage done first!
