Microsoft recently released a backwards compatibility update to add software emulators for Ghost Recon, Ghost Recon 2, Ghost Recon 2 Summit Strike, Rainbow Six 3, Rainbow Six 3 Black Arrow, Splinter Cell, Splinter Cell Pandora Tomorrow, and Splinter Cell Chaos Theory. While all is great that they are still adding compatibility, but they broke Halo 2 by doing so. Halo 2 would only play in the standard 4×3 TV dimensions, not the 16×9 letterbox format used by high-definition televisions. Also, the game’s graphics appeared compressed and not like it should be for HD. Microsoft claims that they will fix what they broke…again!
