This might look awesome, but when it comes to organizing your photos on your computer it would be much more efficient with a mouse and keyboard. Of course, they didn't demonstrate any sort of typing capabilities on that so I wonder if it requires a keyboard to be hooked up?As Chris said though, it will be amazing in social situations. That's why they are putting it in restaraunts and TMobile stores where people can sit there in awe at how cool the table is.

I definitely see where you are coming from Daniel. They would place clear glass (similar to what you saw in the first video) on the screen, the glass contained a program of sorts, and it would activate, letting you do whatever you want with it.It's not like we've never seen this before, we've just never seen it done with wireless phones and a larger screen before, it's always been contained in some little pda or Nintendo DS (granted the DS can't have multiple points being touched at the same time). It's also defiantly not very particle for home use, at least, i haven't seen (or thought of)anything that would work well in my house. It sucks for watching videos (imagine watching a movie with your head tipped down all the time) for long periods of time, it's defiantly not going to be used for gaming.Every demonstration i see of this technology is something that is never really that impressive (okay the stuff they were doing with the portables and cards was cool), just some guys tossing around music and photos in a new GUI.When it can do something a normal desktop computer can't do that I've always wished it could ill be more impressed. Until then it's just a large PDA that you can't take with you.

I don’t know what to think.

I do remember seeing this a few years back, only i think Sony was working on it.
