Newshutch is really nice for being able to read news but if you need to stay on top of things you'll need something that gets updated more than every hour. I think that they were smart for building off of Firefox because then they could focus on adding more functionality and features instead of worrying about security patches and the ground-work. Why reinvent the wheel when you can work off of one of the most popular ones?

I like the one in Firefox because it reloads cached versions of the pages instead of completely refreshing the page, so it will also restore form data which has been useful on more than one occasion.
