With all of the popular products available this holiday season, I was wondering what the five most wanted were. Any guesses? My guesses included the Wii, the iPhone, and maybe an iPod. I just came across CNET users’ weekly top 20 most products which gives us an idea of what people have on their wish lists. So here’s the top 5 most wanted gadgets for the week of November 18th. A couple may surprise you!
- Microsoft’s Zune
2nd generation, 80GB in black
- Sony PlayStation 3
60 GB
- Nintendo Wii
- Apple iPhone
8GB
- LG Voyager – VX10000
What’s on your “wish-list” this holiday season?

1. A new TV.
There are plenty of great deals out there on them this weekend! I want to get my hands on a nice GPS.
Zune at #1?
That’s odd..!
Rawr….stupid thingy.
IMO, the PS3 being on there at all is way more odd. It still has no worthwhile games. Get a 360 instead.
I know that is what I was thinking…and I though you guys already had a Wii. need to put an iPod Touch 16Gig.
Zune may not have a web browser built in, but it does have WiFi sync, Zune to Zune send, FM radio, and now an 80GB HD. W/ iPod, you have to pick between WiFi and storage capacity.
If I were to pick a tech product, it would definitely be a Wii. I demoed Super Mario Galaxy, it’s amazing!
I want a Wii, too! Super Mario Galaxy looks so great! My second choice would probably be a Zune or an iPod.
It does seem a bit odd, but the 2nd generation is a brand new device. People are just hearing about it for the first time, and are therefore wanting to get one.
I have a Wii, and I’ve been waiting to get my hands on Super Mario Galaxy. It looks pretty amazing from the videos I’ve seen of it, and the reviews I’ve read.
Sure, I understand it’s gonna be in the top 10 for that reason, but I never expected it at #1. The iPhone and iPod Touch are new too with a bigger existing market and other new products have had a lot of marketing too. But hey, I’m in Europe so I have never seen any Zune marketing campaign. They must have had a good one in North America
Keep in mind that this list came from CNET’s users — so it’s by no means official.
