		<description>It&#039;s laughable really. The only ones you could ever need are WLM, Google Talk and Xfire. Google Talk is a Jabber client, meaning that should you wish you can use transport servers to allow you to talk to AIM, YIM, ICQ and MSN. 

Windows Live Messenger is actually quite a nice program, once you apply the A-Patch. Whilst you can talk to WLM contacts in Gtalk with the aid of a transport, as so many people use the Messenger service it makes sense to be able to easily add them in Messenger as I get new contacts every few days. Plus WLM has file transfer and group convos, features sadly lacking from GTalk.

Lastly Xfire is the essential IM for any gamer, due to its game tracking, file downloads, screenshots and in game conversation options.</description>
