I'm not quite sure if that would ever happen. Linux would have to gain a huge marketshare since that is the only operating system that Firefox ships default on, and even still it is only for certain distributions of Linux. Too many people are comfortable with the default.

Netscape’s dead. IE killed it over a decade ago. I’ll be giving the Netscape browser another chance very soon though, just to support the smaller companies.
