I am surprised Webroot was not mentioned above. Its worked so well for me and does not use so much memory either compared to many of the others I have purchased. Kaspersky would be my 2nd choice, used to use that at the office. Now we have Symantec… talk about overated…

I suggest all of my friends to use avira and Gdata antivirus. these two software are the best

from my prospective,i have used mcaffe,KAV 2009,avg, eset and out of them i found that eset is the best,,,,….
it is leight weight for the system,doesn’t take much memory,easy to use,updates easily and moreover provides better security than anyone else.Among rest all,kaspersky is the worst as it is the heaviest one and slows down the computer a lot and cleaning not too perfect..

i had avira first then i installed kaspersky,later eset nod 32 .
the worst from those is avira because i had a virus in my system which just destroyd avira and when finaly i instaled avast 4.8 (profesional edition) it detected almost 100 viruses which didnot detected any other anti viruses i wrote about
SO AVAST IS THE BEST I RECOMEND ALL OF YOU 8) 8O
