I used PSPad for coding, and I have a legit (afaik) version of Outlook that came with a PDA that I use for PIM. I build my own computers so I've never gotten it bundled with a PC, and my college didn't offer MS Office at a student discount rate, otherwise I would probably have bought it if it was $20 like Carl here.
