That bill was targeted solely towards Amazon, and that’s actually why Amazon is lashing out against New York trying to fight it. They are saying that it’s not fair that they are being targeted because of their volume, and something must have changed to force Newegg to join the ranks of Amazon in taxation for New York.

Btw..i thought the amazon tax bill will force internet retailers to charge tax regardless of their "physical presence" (ex: a branch/location) in NYS. Since Newegg and other retailers already charge tax for people buying products from areas they are based in, NJ, CA, and TN in the case of Newegg.
