That bill was targeted solely towards Amazon, and that&#039;s actually why Amazon is lashing out against New York trying to fight it. They are saying that it&#039;s not fair that they are being targeted because of their volume, and something must have changed to force Newegg to join the ranks of Amazon in taxation for New York.</description>

		<description>This sucks, Newegg will be changring taxes beginning in June 1st cause I was planning to purchase hardware to make my first computer build. ahh. Btw..i thought the amazon tax bill will force internet retailers to charge tax regardless of their &quot;physical presence&quot; (ex: a branch/location) in NYS. Since Newegg and other retailers already charge tax for people buying products from areas they are based in, NJ, CA, and TN in the case of Newegg.</description>
