Now You Can Have The New Google Accounts Page

This was just discovered yesterday but now everyone can play with the new Accounts page. If you follow that URL it should take you to your account settings but it is version 2 instead of the previous version that we were all familiar with.

I actually don’t like it very much because there is way too much white space and I have to scroll to see all of my services. With all of the white space that they have I would have thought they could have made it so people have to scroll less. Maybe they could have at least made the page customizable so that I could remove links that are pointless, like the Google Calendar link that just points to the Google Calendar Homepage. Hopefully they are still working on this.

  1. Why wouldn’t you want it to link to your calender though? It’s just a nice place to see all the services you use and access them quickly without the hassle of having to have them bookmarked. And the old one looked like it was made with Frontpage or some rubbish like that.

  2. I think that the new page is nice except I believe that it takes up an unnecessary amount of room. Maybe they could have created a “Most Frequently Used Services” section that shows all of the services that I use at least once a week and then placed the rest of the services under some kind of collapsible menu. Just my thoughts though.
