Mozilla is reporting that there have been nearly 2300 bugs fixed for Firefox 2.0 so far in addition to the memory leaks they have fixed.

Google Video has now received the ability to link to a specific time in a movie. I can hardly count how many times I have posted videos on this site and said "checkout the video at 1 minute and 36 seconds" for example.

It has been a long time coming but someone finally developed some software that will synchronize your Google Calendar with Outlook. SyncUpwards is currently in Beta testing but they have opened it up to the public.

Flickr had some unexpected downtime yesterday and the screenshot above is from their maintenance page they posted. They had to transfer 20 terabytes of photos between two data centers that were located thousands of miles apart. The site was shutdown to ensure that the transition went smoothly but they still kept people busy by having them enter the contest above!

Opera has been doing a great job with putting Web browsers on small screens and the Nintendo DS will be no exception. This Japanese video shows the browser in action and demonstrates how it will make use of both screens. The bottom screen will be used to show the page you are browsing while the top screen is used to zoom into a portion of the screen.

One of the most common things that people probably do at work is chat with their friends. There are a lot of instant messengers out there such as Windows Live Messenger, AIM, Google Talk, and Yahoo but how can you talk with all your friends when you are at work?

Last week I started using Flock as my everyday browser and it may be tough to pull me away from it now. Some features, like the integrated News Reader, are amazing and do not compare to any other browser. The best part is that Flock is based on the Firefox code and even more importantly it identifies itself as Firefox. Any site that is compatible with Firefox should work perfectly in Flock.

Are you getting sick of using Outlook Express? Well, then go ahead and download the new Windows Live Mail Desktop Beta. The software has a lot of nice features like the built-in RSS reader but the advertisement on the right-side of the screen gets a little annoying. They never put the advertisement in Outlook Express so I don't know why they felt the need to put it in there.
