$10 million is not too much money to waste when you consider that they developed a real product with this money (even if it didn’t get to market). Compare this with the $2 billion that Google are apparently about to spend on a crappy web site (FaceBook):

Nice…that really puts the amount of money into perspective.

Call me old fashioned, but I can’t really see how a website should be worth this much, when you compare the development (and administrative) effort compared to a real multi billion project like the design of a new passenger aircraft.

I think I was the only one looking forward to this one, as it would be a cool light weight device used for Internet and stuff. It looked pretty cool which nice and slim design (like a MacBook but not as expensive). Oh well, maybe something else will come out along the same line.

You definitely weren’t the only one looking forward to it – I saw plenty of people complaining about it this morning. And I’m sure something else will be coming out eventually to replace the Foleo – and hopefully it’ll be even better.
