Ok. I’ve given it a better try. I can say with confidence that this is not for me. It’s just not my type of game. Then again, I do not like puzzle games either.

The modern puzzle Sudoku was invented in Indianapolis in 1979. Interest in Sudoku stems from a revival in Japan in 1986, when the venerable puzzle publisher Nikoli discovered the game as invented by Howard Garns and initially distributed for children under the name “Number Place” in an older Dell Magazines publication from 1979, and republished the format leading to widespread international popularity in 2005.

I think it’s one of those things where either you like it and you can’t get enough of it or you don’t like it and never will. I’m normally too busy to sit down and work on it just for fun. It usually ends up being something to cure boredom on a plane, waiting for an appointment, etc.

Unfortunately I am one of the addicted and like Max— I have to stick to the paper pencil. My computer is pretty useful for just about everything but that. Although I do know plenty of people that prefer it on their computers.

If you want a truly portable Sudoku game, on your mobile phone that is, make sure to check out World Sudoku League. Registered members can download a Sudoku game to play on their phone. The game even has a online connection for highscores! I'm hooked...

I love solving Sudoku puzzles. I tried this game though and didn’t like it. I like sitting there with a pencil (to make notes), , a sheet of paper with a Sudoku puzzle on it, and really get into it. I don’t like playing on my PC or using those electronic hand-held things.

I tried it shortly, however, you are right in the fact that I probably did not give it a fair chance. Most likely because I do not like these type games.

However, you have swayed me to give it a second chance. I am going to grab the portable version linked here. So, if I get addicted to it, then it is all YOUR fault.

I have heard from several people that they hate the game but then they go on to say that they have never played it. You say that “everyone” is addicted to Sudoku. Well, you are wrong! I have never liked these type of number games. I am also not fond of puzzle games either. I have tried the game and do not like it.

I do know that it is sweeping the USA (and world I am sure) as you see so much out there now for it.

My favorite game type is the hack n’ slash action rpg style game (Diablo, etc.). I am currently addicted to [titanquestgame.com]
