There aren’t many instances when I have to print things these days, but when I do I feel like I’m wasting a lot of paper with the stuff I’m trying to print off. There is a free app called iPrint that tries to save your precious resources by helping you print multiple pages on to one single page.
This isn’t a new concept, but iPrint offers some features that make using the free app worthwhile. Take a look at its best features:
- Automatically delete unwanted pages
Automatically removes pages that don’t have any content on them, or you can manually remove pages you don’t need.
- Print multiple pages on each sheet of paper
Scales pages down so that you can fit either two or four pages on to one printed page.
- Collect print jobs
Can aggregate multiple print jobs, which is useful for combining multiple print jobs on to a single page. To do this just leave iPrint open while performing multiple print operations.
I love that it can collect multiple print jobs so that they are all executed as one. If you have a bunch of single-page documents that would mean you can still print up to four on one page despite them all being separate files. It’s easy to do, and an extremely useful feature.
