<description>One question: What are the appointment group scheduling and notification options?

Implementing a calendar program is not rocket science, quite the contrary (Which is why Web 2.0 calendars were some of the first wave of Ajax apps).

The tricky part (and absolutely critical) part of calendar engineering is a solid, varied, and flexible implementation of appointment alerts and group meeting invitations which are tz savvy.

Desktop popup (whether you are on the site or not), IM text messaging (Gtalk only? Worthless), email and mobile appointment alerts are all much more critical features then ajax vs html interface.

Especially for these apps which are breaking Outlook&#039;s stronghold on the market, interoperability will also be essential in meeting planning.</description>
