I don't think it would necessarily be bad, but probably not something I would use much since their label system is already pretty fast.

I love finding new blogs, but it’s rare when you actually find a good one. I can’t wait for future improvements on GoogleReader.

I've found some good blogs from the recommendations, too. I'm actually liking this new feature.

One thing I think they should add is filters, similar to Gmail. I have a feed for my website, so I can see what it looks like. I get excited when I have a new feed (procrastination at it’s best). I don’t like opening Reader just to find that it’s my own post that is new.

Filters are a really good idea for Google Reader, and it would help tremendously for finding the information you care the most about. I'd have to guess that because of the insane number of feeds some people subscribe to, however, it would be extremely processor intensive and not something they have the power for right now.

I did that kind of stuff to sort my feeds, too. Sometimes I would use numbers to sort multiple feeds in a specific order.

Yay, no more "*tech" to make sure my tech feeds are the first in the list :D.

Andrew- Just use yahoo pipes. You can filter feeds and do all types of crazy crap.

I am constantly amazed at how quick (most of the time!)Google will stay on top of their products and make a useful change to it. I won't really use the Recommendation's now available for Google Reader since it is so limited. But I sure will use the heck out of the Drag-n-Drop functionality that has been sorely missing from this application.
