I currently own the 8830 blackberry from sprint. For what I do, I love the this blackberry. If the 9000 series is a more refined version of the 8830, I going to buy it in a heart beat.

This new blackberry sounds great! After having the 7100i and 7520 I still feel that for the money spent that my current phone can do everythign the blackberry did plus some. It may not have the immediate e-mail service like the 7100i did, but the added internet speed makes up for it! (my current phoen is the ic902 through sprint/nextel)

Seems like it’s going to be difficult to choose! They both have their (dis)advantages.</blockquote></div>
Battery life is the most important thing to me, and I'm really curious as to how this and the iPhone 2 will stack up in comparison. From the people I've talked to the current Blackberry's only get 2 or 3 hours of talk time, whereas the current iPhone gets 4 to 5 hours of talk time for me. That was actually the deciding factor for us getting iPhone's.
