thanks for the article Ashley, i’ve been a user of skype for some time now and i was excited about the new beta release but i gotta say i’m disappointed while the video quality is great the video screen is huge and so far i found no way to resize it and i’m used to my IM being slim so this is just not working for me.

Hope they do something about it because this version looks better and the HQ video is great.

I know you’re not the first to complain about how much screen space it takes up. I saw several others on the Skype Blog complaining that they like Skype running in the background while they work, and not taking up the whole screen.

Skype is requesting feedback, so it might be a good idea to let them know what you think! They just might make your requested changes before the launch the final version.
