The one series that I always would buy for an OS, is the Mastering series. They have always been great books with a lot of good information.

Having downloaded and looked at the additional chapter, this is also a book that I could highly recommend to people. It is very nicely laid out with very professional and well thought out graphics. I especially liked the graphic of the computer tower with the file cabinet drawer coming out of it.
