Sony Reader

Both Gizmodo and Engadget were able to get their hands on the Sony Reader early to snap a bunch of photos so that we know what to expect when it gets released. Looking through all of the photos really makes me realize how amazing this Reader will be.

It not only supports the eBooks but you’ll also be able to handle multiple filetypes: RTF, PDF, JPG’s, GIF’s, MP3’s, AAC, and  even news feeds on this. The news feeds that will be available are limited in the beginning but I am happy to announce that Sony contacted me a few weeks ago so that we could arrange for CyberNet to be on that list. :D

Sony currently has the Reader available for pre-order (with all of the specs listed) but this thing will run you $350. They say that it will be ready to ship on or before October 31, 2006 but I think the mad rush is going to be hindered by the price.
