A good friend worked for Sprint several years ago and, of course, his cellphone service was provided by Sprint. We were walking to lunch in downtown Chicago when an old friend, who he had bumped into that morning, called him... the conversation basically went like this:

...
caller: '... so you work downtown?"
friend: 'uh... yea..'
caller: '/\/\ 'ere at?'
friend: 'can you repeat that?'
caller: 'where at?'
friend: 'Sprint, on LaSalle'
caller: 'Where?'
friend: 'Sprint'
caller: '/\/\'at? Sor'E, wh id you ay?'
friend: 'SPRINT'
caller: 'Wha'?"
....

The irony wasn't lost on me and by the end of his call I was laughing at this 'commercial' that would never be.

I just reduced my sprint bill significantly. With an all out effort to save subscribers, Sprint will stop at nothing to make you happy. My Air card was reduced from 60 to 51/mo. my plan is unlimited talk for 89/mo unlimited internet/chat/text/pictures for 10/mo.

Then after all that, mention a popular corporation and ask for the employee discount for an additional 23% off!

Nice!

Verizon may charge more but they know how to treat the customer; if Sprint learns this lesson and publicly demonstrates they learned it then maybe people will consider returning, but until then I have my doubts.</blockquote></div>
I actually left for a similar reason. They once tried to charge me for Internet usage because they messed up on switching my plan, and it took me calling their corporate headquarters and asking to talk to the CEO before I got to someone who corrected the situation. Now I'm with AT&T and they've been great thusfar.

It's definitely not bad, but I'm wondering how long it will be before unlimited everything is the norm in the service plans. I don't even have a landline anymore because I just use my cellphone all the time.
