I have both a Gmail and a Yahoo account, but I like the Yahoo account better. I hardly use the Gmail one; I can’t sort things the way I like too, although the labels are nice.

YES. I changed to gmail and I want to suicide. You can’t sort your messages by sender. The sort functionality is fundamental. Yahoo might seem less fancy but is waaay more practical.

I am changing from Gmail to Yahoo for the simple reason that GMail is absolutely cumbersome. You can’t do something as simple as sort your e-mails by sender. It’s ridiculous.

Hey Ryan, I may have been giving you some bad intel regarding Yahoo! Mail attachment size limits. Yahoo! recently put up a site explaining that the free 20MB attachment limit (up from 10) is part of a promotion for “power users.” I qualify as one, but not necessarily everyone will. Also, it says it’s a pilot program that may be discontinued at any time.

Don’t get me wrong, I think this is a really cool program giving out free bonuses. I just want to get out the facts.

I'm really surprised that they don't promote this more as well, but I'm guessing that they probably have to pay TrueSwitch on a per-user basis. The more people that switch, the more it costs them. They probably don't mind forking over the costs for people who are really enthusiastic about switching, but they would probably want to save the moneyh for the casual user that is just playing around with alternatives.
