Back in early June, Adobe released Acrobat 9 with Flash and said that Reader 9 would be coming soon. Just yesterday it was released and it's available for download (for free). It will allow users to open, view, search, and print PDF files. Because Acrobat 9 allows users to embed Flash content into the PDF, Reader 9 allows user to view the Flash content.

Google and Yahoo to Index Flash Content

One of the problems with using Flash on a website is that search engines like Google and Yahoo are unable to read the content of the files encoded in the Flash file format. This can keep people from using Flash on their sites for obvious reasons.

Adobe Dreamweaver CS4 Beta

When we announced back in March that Photoshop CS4 had been leaked there were (and still are) some skeptics that it's the real deal. The timing of the leak seemed about right since the Adobe Creative Suite is on an 18 to 24 month release cycle, which would place the final release of Adobe CS4 somewhere between October 2008 and April 2009.

ReadAir: Google Reader Desktop App

Windows; Mac; One thing that has always amazed me is the fact that none of the desktop feed readers currently available synchronize with Google Reader. Maybe I'm wrong and I just haven't searched hard enough, but we're getting a little closer with ReadAir.

Adobe Flash Player Now With H.264 (HD quality)

Just the other day Adobe released Flash Player 9.0.115.0, and the most notable feature is the new H.264 (HD quality) video support. That is pretty big news because H.264 offers better video quality at lower bitrates, which inevitably makes for a better viewing experience. As Wikipedia points out there are numerous benefits to using H.264 for sharing videos.
