I normally don't post about WordPress related things but since another milestone release is schedule for Monday I figured I could make an exception. I did mention this release in the forum last week because I came across some amazing screenshots that represented what the Administration screen was supposed to look like.

Opera has decided to take the route that other software companies are taking to improve the user experience. They are now asking people to download an experimental build of Opera (version 9.12) that will test a new reporting function that they have implemented. Like most other usage reports, this one is not designed to steal any personally identifiable information from you.

Following along with the bird theme, Flock has announced that their code name for the Cardinal successor (Cardinal is the current 0.7.x release) is Cormorant, a medium-to-large seabird. Originally, the next big release was supposed to be Danphe, however they've taken a step back to evaluate where they currently are, and where they'd like to be.

Going along with our recent poll, here's another question for you.  How many of you that own an Xbox 360, also own or owned at one point the original Xbox?  According to Chris Satchell of Microsoft, he's saying that so far, 10.4 million Xbox 360 units have been sold.  But, even more interesting is that he says over half of those have come from people that never owned the original Xbox.

The day for the first milestone of Firefox 3 has already arrived! That's right, Firefox 3 Alpha 1 can be downloaded off of the FTP server but at this time they only have the English version posted. I expect that other languages will be following very shortly so this will be the downloader for those versions, but as of right now only the English-US version is available:
