Launchy is becoming a well-known application among PC power users. When the latest version launched back in April it included a plugin called Runny which added a whole new aspect to the application. I love that plugin because you can create customized commands for Launchy, such as one for composing an email.

Launchy 1.25 Adds Customizable Commands

The newest version of Launchy that was just released a few days ago includes a nifty plugin called Runny. This plugin will let you add your own custom commands to Launchy so that you get the most out of the free program. I do have to admit that this is a really great feature…and below I’ll demonstrate how to use it.

Being a Windows user for all my life I have come to realize that my Start Menu quickly becomes filled with applications that I frequently install. Windows Vista makes this much better by incorporating an easy-to-access search bar right in the Start Menu.
