I've been using Google Latitude with some friends and family ever since it was released last week for the iPhone. I noticed that it used very little battery on my phone, which made me wonder how frequently it actually sends updates.

Who would have expected that RIM, makers of the BlackBerry, would turn to Microsoft, a rival of theirs (Windows Mobile), for a partnership? We didn't expect it, but it happened. Just today the companies announced that Microsoft Live Search would be available on the BlackBerrys sometime this year.
With all of the hype surrounding the 3G iPhone, we can't forget about other phones out there like the BlackBerry Thunder which has been labeled as RIM's "iPhone Killer." Boy Genius Report (BGR) claims to have received an official product shot, and if it's legitimate, it confirms that the phone will be touchscreen.
The highly anticipated new BlackBerry has been Boldly announced and is said to be available this Summer exclusively from AT&T in the U.S. with other carrier versions coming soon. It's called the BlackBerry Bold (a.k.a. BlackBerry 9000) and it sure is slick.
