CyberNotes: Bookmark and Jump to Favorite Folders

How often do you open and save files on your computer? I'm sure that even the most casual users will do it several times throughout the day. Whether it be adding an attachment to an email, uploading a photo to a website, or simply saving a document you've been working on... opening and saving files is a part of our computer-driven lives.

A Better Speed Dial for Firefox

One of the things that I absolutely love about Opera is the Speed Dial that was introduced back in Opera 9.2 almost exactly one year ago. It basically adds thumbnail images of your 9 favorite sites to the page that is displayed when you open a new tab.

CyberNotes: Mobile Bookmarks

Sometimes I can't believe how many bookmarks users have. I've seen people who only bookmark a handful of the sites that they use the most, while others have thousands of bookmarks. I fall somewhere in between with a few hundred bookmarks, but one thing that I've come to realize is how difficult it can be to gain access to all of my bookmarks when I'm on-the-go.

CyberNotes: Syncing iPhone Bookmarks with Firefox

When Apple added iPod Touch/iPhone bookmark synchronization to iTunes they, for whatever reason, didn't include Firefox as an option. As it stands right now you can synchronize your iPhone bookmarks with Safari (available on Windows and Mac) or Internet Explorer (available on Windows).

CyberNotes: Sync Bookmarks Between Browsers

One of the most valuable pieces of data your browser can hold are your bookmarks. Weave: Synchronize Firefox 3 Bookmarks

Mozilla has been investigating ways to make it easy for users to carry information (bookmarks, history, etc...) from one browser to another. What they came up with is an extension called Weave, and it can be used across several computers to synchronize data.

CyberNotes: Remove Broken and Duplicate Bookmarks

I'm not sure about you, but I have a collection of bookmarks that is almost unmanageable. Some of the bookmarks I probably haven't touched for years, and I thought it was time for a little spring winter cleaning!

CyberNotes: Recover Lost Bookmarks in Firefox

Has something ever happened to your Firefox bookmarks, and you were left wondering how you could get back the bookmarks that you lost? Some of you may be using a service such as Foxmarks (review) so that all of your bookmarks are also backed-up online, but often any change you make to your bookmarks will also be reflected in the service you're synchronizing with.

New Google Notebook Tagging

Google Notebook is, in my opinion, one of the best tools for saving content from websites. It just got a lot better, too, with some of the most requested features getting implemented. The most notable addition is support for labels, which in Google terminology means tags. Just like in Gmail you can label each of your notes, and then you can view notes according to the labels.
