Online Syntax Highlighters Work Well With Evernote

One of the things I'd really like to see come to Evernote is built-in syntax highlighting, which is something I bet a lot of developers would probably like to see. Until that day comes I will have to stick to online syntax highlighters that take my code and turn it into something that looks a little prettier.

Easily Share Text, Images, and Videos With Others

When you are looking for a way to share content with friends there is a seemingly infinite number of ways you can do it. Another option you should add to your list is JustPaste.It. Terminal Alternative for Mac

Mac only I spend quite a bit of time living in the terminal on my Mac, and so I was rightfully excited when I came across the free app called iTerm 2 that squashes some of the things I wanted the built-in app to offer. One of the things I really needed was a search feature to quickly find things from past commands I've run, and iTerm 2 does that very well.

Paste Clipboard as Plain Text

Windows only There are several applications that I use on a regular basis that don't have a "paste as plain text" option in them. It's not ideal, but it works.

Shapeshifter is an Awesome Clipboard Manager

Windows only I've tried using quite a few clipboard managers in the past, but I always run into the same problem of forgetting they are actually there. Sometimes they use a custom keyboard shortcut which is yet another thing you'll have to embed in your brain, or there will be a System Tray icon that will be forgotten about shortly after installation. In my mind these methods aren't efficient.

PasteCopy.NET: A More Advanced Windows Clipboard

Copying and pasting is something that we've come to do on a regular basis without thinking twice. What I find interesting is that over all of these years the basic concept has not changed. On most operating systems you copy one item, it gets stored on a clipboard, and is immediately overwritten when a newer item is copied.

Keyboard Shortcut to Paste Plain Text

There are some things I never understood with Microsoft. For example, why was it never possible until Windows 7 to have a keyboard shortcut for creating a new folder? Or for that matter why was there not even a toolbar icon you could add to perform that action? At least in Windows 7 they finally assigned Ctrl+Shift+N for creating a new folder, but that's not the only thing that's perplexed me.
