As you may have seen, we've been starting several different types of featured articles. We've been doing the daily CyberNotes for well over a year now, and that it truly one of the unique aspects of oursite.
We added avatar support to the site yesterday for those of you who have accounts through MyBlogLog or Gravatar, but many of you expressed interested in creating an avatar without needing to use those services. For that reason registered users will receive the option to specify a URL for their avatar!
We just got done adding some more new features to the site that have been requested. The first being Avatars to the comments! They use the MyBlogLog and Gravatar service, so if you’re signed up for either of those, your avatar should display.
Both Ryan and I are pretty personable people. We like to interact with the community here and elsewhere, and we like to understand and get to know our readers. Similarly, we’d like our readers to know a little bit about us too!
It’s been a little over a week since we launched the new design of CyberNet, and along with the design came some mentioned new features. We want to make sure that those new features are explained to you so that you can make the most of them. The first feature that we’re going to explain is the Advanced Thumbnail Navigation called Highslide.
As everyone has probably noticed by now, our blog got a nice update last week. We couldn’t let the forum go untouched, so late this weekend we launched a redesign of the forum that made it match our new site a lot better.
Want to stay connected with the latest technology news? We’ve experienced a lot of growth over the last year, and we thought that now was a perfect time to explain to our new and old readers alike, how to stay connected and get involved with CyberNet News. Hopefully this list will prove useful and you’ll find the method(s) that work best for you.
We hope that you have been enjoying your stay here at the new CyberNet! After a long day of traffic analysis and monitoring we’ve been able to work out most of the kinks that may have been slowing the site down.
After two months in the making, the new design and features are finally here! Go ahead and take a look around, try out some of the new/improved features, and let us know what you think! But first, if things aren’t looking quite right, you need to clear your cache so that your browser will download our new style-sheets.
About a week ago we gave you some insight as to what you can expect from the new CyberNet design that we’re preparing to launch. We’re almost completely finished with it, there’s just a few little details left. It’s been tested in Internet Explorer 6 & 7, Firefox 2 & 3 Alpha, Opera 9, and Safari 3 Beta and works beautifully.

Hello CyberNet readers!
Our forum community continues to grow as we have just hit the 200 member mark! From those members we also have nearly 4,000 posts and 350+ topics that have been started.
I thought I would give everyone a heads up about a small modification that we just made to the way you follow your unread comments here on the site.
I’ve been in contact with Digg quite a few times today and we were finally able to get our domain unbanned! We have also added a “Digg” button in the bookmarks bar located underneath a post’s title to make submitting an article a little easier for you.
