About the Downtime…

Some of you may have noticed that we were down for about the last hour and a half. No, our server didn't crash. In fact it still hasn't been rebooted in 245 days. Without getting into too many details we'll just say that the hamster fell asleep at the wheel.

Moving…

This is just a quick note to all of our readers to let you know that this week will be a bit different in terms of a writing schedule because we are moving! As many of you know from reading us (or if you've read our About section), Ryan and I are both from the Chicagoland area, but we've been living in Iowa for the last 4 1/2 years to go to school at Iowa State University.

CyberNet Server Hits 6-Months of Uptime :-)

We thought that today would be a good time to express our thanks to the machine that delivers CyberNet to readers around the world. Thank You! Gracias! Merci! Danke! Multumesc!

Sure, we write the articles and dig up the information, but it's the readers and comments that add the most value to our site.  We've never taken the opportunity to formally thank all of the people that make CyberNet what it is, so a big "Thanks" is long overdue. Today, we're saying thank you...

I'm not sure how many of our eagle-eyed visitors noticed the 15-minutes of downtime last night, but I know some of you did because Max started a discussion in the forum about it.

Huge Learn Firefox Redesign!

After about a month in progress, we have finally launched a Learn Firefox redesign! Our focus was to bring a graphical appeal to the site since it is a "visual guide to the Firefox web browser," and we believe that we've successfully done that.
