Are you using Windows XP but prefer the Firefox 3 theme for Vista, or vice versa? It's been a year and a half since Mozilla shipped Firefox 3 Alpha 1, and what we saw initially wasn't very breathtaking. With every new release of Firefox there's always going to be a few extensions that just don't make the cut. Google Browser Sync is exactly one of those extensions, and it looks like there is very little chance of a resuscitation.

Instant Google Results in the Firefox 3 Location Bar

One of the my favorite things in Firefox and Opera is having the ability to perform searches right from the location bar using keywords. In fact I've always removed the search box from the browser simply because I never use it. But when I found out about the Peers extension I thought it was going to be the extension that would actually get me to use the search box once and for all. I was wrong.

CyberNotes: Mouse Gestures in Firefox, IE, and Opera

Keyboard shortcuts step aside! Mouse gestures have been around for quite some time, and are often used as a way to quickly issue commands. One of the places that these are used the most is in the web browser, and that's because a lot of repetitive actions are performed there.
