Flickr Video Finally Coming in April?

Over the last four years since Flickr launched, they've really made a name for themselves and have become one of the most popular places for people to go to share photos. They've got a great community of users who regularly upload, tag, and favorite photos.

Photobucket and FotoFlexer Team-Up!

First Flickr teamed up with Picnik to offer a built-in photo editing service and now Photobucket, one of the most popular image-hosting sites out there has teamed up with FotoFlexer. Both Picnik and FotoFlexer are great services and allow for convenient and easy editing of photos online. Here's what Photobucket users will be able to do with the help of FotoFlexer tools:

Flickr Donates 10,000 Pro Memberships "for Good"

There are so many reasons that people use Flickr whether it's for business, personal, or marketing purposes.  A recent blog entry over at Flickr points out how some members of Flickr are using it for something a little different than others and that is "to shine a light of social or global issues." For this reason, Flickr has created a new site called Flickr for Good.  It's a place where information can be shared on charity, issues, or other good causes out there.

Flickr Users Respond to Microsoft’s Bid

After Microsoft announced that they were hoping to acquire Yahoo, there was obviously all kinds of talk around the web.  Yahoo fans expressed both pleasure and mostly dis-pleasure at the thought of Yahoo being taken over by Microsoft.

Flickr just announced that Pro members ($25 a year) are now able to keep track of stats for their photos! That's right, you can actually see what photos are popular for today, this week, or over all time. You'll also be able to view where people are coming from that are viewing your photos (what search engines, websites, etc...), and a handy graph will plot your traffic in an easy-to-read fashion.

Flickr Taking Photos on a Picnik

We knew it was coming, and now it's here! Now you can edit the photos you've uploaded to Flickr right Flickr using Picnik, my favorite online photo editing service. The folks at Flickr must have "creating a fantastic experience for our users" at the top of their priority list, because the service continues to get better and better.

How to View Picasa and Photobucket Photos on Tivo

Tivo owners now have a new convenient way to view their photos on the TV. Thanks to a partnership with both Picasa and Photobucket, users can access their photos (assuming they're an account holder for either service) right from their broadband connected  Tivo device. Depending on the model of Tivo that they own, they can even view them in HD.

Bored? Befuddle Your Images

One of the games that I've always enjoyed doing on the computer are the image puzzles, where you provide an image and it scrambles it all up for you to reorganize. Often times the puzzle only has one blank spot that you can use for sliding around the different puzzle pieces, kind of like this game.
