I’ve been addicted to sidebars ever since I bought my first widescreen monitor. Sidebars have the ability to provide a lot of information inside a very small space, and it wasn’t until recently that I fully started to utilize them. It all started when I put the Tab-Bar on the side in both my Firefox and Opera installations (video on customizing Opera),
Launchy is becoming a well-known application among PC power users. When the latest version launched back in April it included a plugin called Runny which added a whole new aspect to the application. I love that plugin because you can create customized commands for Launchy, such as one for composing an email.

Google has just added another element of customization to Google Calendars with their directory for public calendars with calendars that can be integrated into your own personal calendar. The directory includes a variety of different calendars divided into categories, so searching and browsing is easy. Categories include:

- TV Shows
- Events

- Miscellaneous
- Holidays
- Calendars by Google
Under the TV Shows category, you can enter in your zip code so that the calendar you select (e.g.,
